CHURCHILL, Lavinia Joyce
- Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John's on Friday, May 20, 2011, Lavinia Joyce Churchill of Labrador City; formerly of Carbonear, age 75 years. Predeceased by husband William Theodore "Ted", daughter Loretta, son Chancey, parents Mary & Edgar Hiscock, sisters Ella, Dorothy, Wilma & Annie. Leaving to mourn: three daughters Jeanette (Gilles) Soucy, Quebec, Linda (Donnie) Driver, Ontario and Rhonda (Peter) Reid, Eastern Passage, NS; one son Winston, New Brunswick; nine grandchildren Christopher (Chantel), Daniel, Barry, Mario, Jennifer (Alex), Joyce, Brian, Melissa (Steve) & Monica (Sebastien); four great-grandchildren Colby, Candace, Sarah and Gabriel; sister Jean Dodge, Little Heart's Ease; brothers Josh (Lydia) Hiscock, Victoria, Leonard (Martha) Hiscock, and Ellis (Lenora) Hiscock, both of Ontario; sisters-in-law Marcella Swain, Carbonear and Beatrice Ash, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives & friends. Funeral service took place May 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NL.

CURRIE, Daniel

Currie, Daniel Christopher: February 17, 1973 - May 12, 2011
. We sadly announce the sudden death of a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Currie (nee Murphy) and nephew Rene Boudreault. Danny will be forever loved and never forgotten by his daughter Shantel, father Abe Currie and partner Joan Wilson, sister Pauline Woodman (Dave) and children Robert, Matthew and Danielle, brothers Michael Currie (Marilyn) and children Tracie, Amanda and Miranda, Abe Currie Jr. and children Abigail and Abram, as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Labrador City. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date. Donations in Danny's memory may be made to the NL Heart & Stroke Foundation.
