: 87, Bass River, formerly of Wabush, Labrador, passed away February 17, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital. Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Jack & Nellie Chapman. Jane has finally gone to be with her dear husband Ollie, deceased in 1976. She loved bingo. She will be missed by her sons Robert (Mary Jane), Dartmouth, Allan (Ruby), Waterville, Benny (Judy), Halifax, Tony (Rhonda), Wilson (Laura), both of Wabush, daughters Margaret, Texas, Elaine (Lando), Bass River, Sandra (Tony), England, 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Jane was predeceased by brothers Allan, George, Jack, Ivan, sisters Dorothy, Nellie, Margaret, daughter-in-law Colleen. Cremation took place under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2205) Ltd. where funeral service was held February 22, officiated by Rev. Dianna Frye. Interment to take place at a later date in Wabush. Donations in memory may be made to Labrador West Association for Community Living, P.O. Box 507, Wabush, NL A0R 1B0. The family would like to thank Dr. Donald Rowe of Bass River for his constant care and compassion during the time he had our mother as his patient.

MacDONALD, Nita

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nita MacDonald announces her passing at Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the age of 54, following a courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Jim; daughter Jennifer (Steven Byrne), and her precious little granddaughter Alyssa, who kept her going strong for the last 11 months. She will be dearly missed by her sisters and brothers: MaDonna (Elmo Roberts); Lucy (Barry Fry) Bartlett; Ida (John Parsons); Joseph (Sandra) Bartlett; Edward (Wilma) Bartlett; Frances (Linda) Bartlett; Patrick Bartlett; predeceased by Isabelle, Gilbert and Ronald Bartlett and by mother & father Carmel & Frederick Bartlett. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Nita was resting at Penney's Funeral Home, and was laid to rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. Celebrant: Father Jarek Pachocki-OMI. Flowers or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

WALTER EDWARD SNOW
, of Wabush, Labrador, passed away unexpectedly at St. Clare's Hospital, St. John's, February 17, 2011. Walt was born in North River, Conception Bay October 31, 1950. He was employed at Town of Wabush for 30 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother & best friend. Walter is survived by wife Sally, daughter Cathy (Stephen Pardy), Heidi (Seamus), Savannah and Hayleigh, mother Daphne, sister Loretta (Mack), Joyce (sister), brothers Phil (Linda), Larry (Joan), Gerald (Mary), nephews & nieces Jerry, Cyril, Michael, Walter, Robin, Tracey, Shannon, Sandy, TJ, Kerri Lee, Grant, Stephen, Jeffrey, Tyler, April & Andrew.
Never forgotten but sadly missed.
