Corcoran, Peter F.
: Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in the presence of his loving family, at Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital, Labrador City, Peter Corcoran aged 90.8 yrs. He leaves to mourn the love of his life, Bridget, son - Clifton (Judy), daughters - Janet (Tony), Valerie and Kim (Gerald); grandchildren: Robby (Lindsay), Pam, Thomas, Stephanie (Boyd) and Chayse. He leaves behind a large circle of friends from Labrador City, the Ashuanipi River Rats Club, the Snowflake Odd Fellows Lodge and the Anik Masonic Lodge. The Corcoran family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Gonzales and the nursing staff at CWJMH for their care and attendance in the last days of his life. Funeral services were held at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Monday, August 6, 2012. He loved the outdoors and always caught the biggest fish.

WILKINS, Kimberley Ann

The largely attended celebration of life for Kimberley Ann Wilkins was held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 1, 2012 with Rev. Jeffro Bursey officiating and Pastor Jack Briggins assisting. Musician was Barry Snodgrass. Urn Bearer was Bruce Colborne. Family reflections were given by Faye Demings. Scripture readings were proclaimed by best friend Kate Sentner and mother-in-law Betty Wilkins. Numerous floral tributes were received from family, friends and co-workers. Donations in memory of Kim were made to the Lorneville United Church; Wallace River United Baptist Church; Canadian Cancer Society; Bobby's Hospice; Children's Wish Foundation; many sympathy cards and online condolences. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their comfort, support and thoughtfulness. We would also like to thank everyone who was involved in organizing and those who attended the benefit for Kim and Paul. There are not enough words that can express our sincere thanks for all your kindness and efforts during a difficult time. Again thank you so much.
