Overseas Forestry Unit
Two of my Great Uncles served. Both were from Port Rexton on Trinity
Bay.
Cyril Ash who came back and ended up in Ontario where he passed away a number
of years ago.
Also, Chesley Piercey who married in Scotland and never came back to Newfoundland.
He has since passed away as well and is buried in Scotland.
