Peter J. Sullivan Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit # 3107 3 Aug 1983 Age 81 |
Peter J. Sullivan, 81, of Millville, died this morning in Northside
General Hospital. Born in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, he was the son
of the late Edward and Hester [Clarey] Sullivan. He had been living in
Millville the past five years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish,
Bras d'Or. He was a retired steel worker. He served overseas in World
War Two with Newfoundland Foresty Unit. He is survived by three daughters:
Helen, Mrs. Ross Isenor, Dartmouth; Mary, Mrs. Arthur Fleming, Millville;
and Violet, Mrs. Ron Green, Sarnia, Ontario; one son Leonard, Sarnia,
Ontario; a foster son, Gerald Cormier, Dartmouth; one sister, Mary O'Neil,
Oromocto, N.B.; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was
predeceased by his wife, Theodora in 1981; a daughter, Joan Walsh; a sister,
Catherine Farrell, and one brother Jack. The body will rest at G.R. Francis
Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Funeral announcements will be announced later. Peter was layed to rest beside his wife Theadora M. at St. Joseph's Cemetery Little Bras d'Or, Cape Breton County, N.S. |
