John Joseph Nolan [Jack]
Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit # 986
Died October 9, 1986 at the Health Science Complex, St. John's NL
Age 68 years
Interred at All Saints Cemetery , Gander, NL
John went to Scotland in January of 1940 and he remained in the Forestry
Unit until 1946 when he returned to Newfoundland to settle in Gander.
Jack worked with American Overseas Airline until, with Frank Broderick,
he opened a jewelry store near the hospital.
He married a nurse, Cecilia Nolan, and together they had five children:
Anne, John, Larry, Mary and Cathy.

Died May 25th, 1941 at Aberdeen, Scotland
Age 27 years
Interred at Grovec, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
