ERRATA
NAMEDESCRIPTION OF ERRORREPORTED BY
OSBOURNE *1 My Name is Donald Osmond, son of Fredrick Osmond, son of Alfred Osmond, brother to Jonathan Osmond of Birchy Cove, fisherman and one of whose son's was Lewis Osmond fisherman. Not Osbourne. Their presence there can also be confirmed in the 1921 census along with my Great Aunt Elizabeth and her husband Arthur Bartlett and their respective families as well as my Great Grandmother Mary Osmond (neeWhite). In my search for my family tracks I posted a listing with the Newfoundland Genweb in 1998. There had been two connections made around that time but in June 2002 I was contacted by a gentleman, Rex Osmond, living in Lynn Lake Manitoba. His father was a brother to Lewis, as can be followed his Grandfather is Jonathan. From his call to now we have opened six of the ten family lines. Great Grandmother Mary and her husband Alfred had 12 children, 10 of which lived to have families of their own. Birchy Cove is where most of the offspring were born. I hope this correction can be made and If need please feel free to contact me. donosmond@rogers.com
