TRUMP ISLAND
A small island in the district of Twillingate and Fogo, near New World Isalnd, It has been remarkable for the fineness of the copper ore which has been taken out of it. A mine was opened here and worked for a short time, but the result was not satisfactory as regards quanity . Distant from Twillingate by boat 4 miles. Mail fortnightly. Population 17.
