PORT DE GRAVE
A place of some trade and a fishing settlement on the north side of Conception Bay, in the district of Brigus. This was one of the earliest settled localities in Conception Bay. Distant from St. John's by road 51 miles, from Brigus by road 8 miles. Population 595.
