PLACENTIA MAN'S COVE A small fishing settlement in Mortier Bay, west side of Placentia Bay, in the district of Burin. The scenery is very beautiful up this Bay and the land well wooded. Distant from Burin 11 miles, 10 miles by road and 1 mile by water. Mail fortnightly. Population 35. |
