NORTHERN BAY A large fishing settlement on the north shore of Conception Bay, district of Bay de Verds. This is merely an open bight or cove with beach exposed to the weather, and only useful as a fishing station. Distant from Carbonear by road 20 miles. Mail weekly. Population 390. |
