JOB'S COVE A fishing settlement on the north shore of Conception Bay, in the district of Bay De Verds. This is merely a beach sufficiently sheltered for the carrying on of the fishing in summer. Agriculture is followed to some extent in conjunction with the fishery. Distant from Carbonear by road 25 miles. Mail weekly. Population 290. |
