HALL'S BAY An important inlet from the Bay of Notre Dame, district of Twillingate and Fogo. Three rivers flow into it, one of which, Indian Brook, may be followed in a boat through the Grand Pond to St. George's Bay, or Bay of Islands. The land is well wooded. About 20 miles inside are the White Hills and Three Towers, from which may be seen the Grand Pond, the Exploits, and the Straits of Belle Isle. Distant from Twillingate by boat 70 miles, or from Tilt Cove by boat 23 miles. Mail fortnightly. Population 40. |
