GRANDY'S BROOK
A small fishing settlement in the district of Burgeo and La Poile. It is a salmon river, dangerous of access and navigate only for small vessels for about 3 miles. At the head of the river is a telegraph station of the New York, Newfoundland and London Telegraph Co.. Distant from Burgeo 7 miles by boat. Mail fortnightly. Population 30.
