EXPLOITS BRUNT ISLAND
Is situated 12 miles from the mouth of the Exploits River, district of Twillingate and Fogo. It is a large fishing settelment. Mining licenses have been issued for this locality. Distant from Twillingate by boat 14 miles. Mail fortnightly. Population 530.
