The Conception Bay South Seventh-day Adventist Church is located on the main highway in the community of Upper Gullies (in the town of Conception Bay South) which is approximately thirty kilometres west of St. John's, the capital city of Newfoundland.
The church, as it stands at present, didn't always have the same structural appearance as when the building was first purchased back in 1983. At that time it was used as a building supplies retail outlet. Needless to say, extensive renovations and repairs were necessary to bring the building up to church standards. Apart from the sanctuary and baptismal areas the building presently comprises three rooms which are used for Sabbath School classes for children, youth and adults; a mother's room; a book and video library; Pastor's study; Fellowship room and kitchen.
Prior to the purchase of this building, Seventh-day Adventists residing in Conception Bay South area were members of the St. John's SDA Church The Seventh-day Adventist Church is proud to be a part of the Conception Bay South area and is very thankful for the God-given opportunity for reaching out to people in need, whether it be of a physical or spiritual nature.
