The James Brown born Aug 1, 1806 was a son of William and Elizabeth Brown nee Hancock.

This Bible was owned by James & Sarah Brown (nee Saunders) then passed to their
Granddaughter Ellen Brown (nee Brown), then it was passed to Ellen’s son Robert Gill Brown and he passed it to his Nephew Alexander Brown (my father).

The Bible is in the possession of my father Alexander Brown and he has given permission
