Aplin Family Bible
from Current Island Area, Northern Peninsula

This "old" Anglican Bible (Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge) is currently
in the possession of Cindy Belliveau of Moncton, New Brunswick, but was
previously in the possession of her grandmother Emily Aplin.

It contains entries from 1835 to 1878.

Joseph Aplin born in the year of our Lord 1835 September 11
Jane Aplin born in the year of our Lord August 30 1844
Richard Aplin born in the year of our Lord M???? 13 1863
Susan Aplin born in the year of our Loard June 24 1866

Cate Applion
William Applin. The bible belongs to Bill and the testament belongs to Jane.
Mr. John Gibbons
Hamilton
John Streat

Mary Jane Aplin born in the year of our Loard June 20 1870
Catherine Aplin born June 10 1872
Isral Benwah born May 22 1865
Peter Leegual born October 20 1871
Henry Thomas Aplin born September 7 1878

[Note:- It is believed that Joseph & Jane Aplin were husband and wife, and that the other Aplin names in the 1st & 3rd name groupings are their children.  The significance of the names in the 2nd grouping is unknown.  However, Henry Thomas Aplin (my great grandfather) had a Jane and a William.  I think that the Bible and the Testament were intended for them.]
