Emma Coish Maybe?Emma Husband Maybe?

St. John's/New York City
c1929

These are suspected to be photos of my great aunt Emma Coish and her husband. Emma
was born Sept. 27, 1888 in St. John's, Newfoundland to Sarah Jane and Jonathan Coish.
She emigrated to New York City (recorded at Ellis Island) aboard the SS Rosalind
arriving July 9, 1908. She married (maybe a policeman) and had at least 4 children.
It's believed she remained in New York and died sometime in the late 1960's.
These photos were taken in New York City about 1929.

Does anyone recognize these photos or know who Emma married?
Is the photo on the right a police uniform? If so, from where?
