District Photo Album
Can You Identify This?

Unknown Soldier

Quarantined Men

This photo probably shows a group of Newfoundland soldiers in quarantine
--perhaps about 1915 before they went overseas?? (The young fellow
in front wearing the light shirt appears to be wearing puttees.) The
3rd man from right in 2nd row, behind the man in the
white shirt is John Payne from Harbour Round.
The inscription on the back reads as follows:

"This was taken in front of
our Hut while we were
in Quarantine.
J.E.L.H."

Does anyone recognize this photo or any of the people in it?
