Hauling the Twillingate Office - 1928

Twillingate
1928

The Sun office as it was being moved to a different location in the community.

The new Twwillingate Sun office (originally a grocery store) was bought
from Ned Roberts and was hauled to a site near the old office in 1928.
After all the equipment was transferred from the old building to the
new one.  The old building was taken down.  The new building
was used as the Sun office until the Sun was
closed down by Clark in 1953.

My husband's gr. grandfather, George Roberts was editor of
the Twillingate Sun from 1895-1910 and his grandfather,
Stewart Roberts from 1921-1947.
