John & Catherine Howlett - early c1900s

Photo of my grandparents, John and Catherine Howlett, of the Goulds.

John Howlett was born in Petty Harbour, about July 19,1868, and died in the Goulds
September 22, 1941. His parents were Patrick Howlett and Mary Parnell, Petty Harbour

Catherine Clarke was born in Petty Harbour May, 1870, and died in the Goulds
August 31, 1940. Parents were Daniel Clarke and Johanna Hearn, Petty Harbour / Goulds

Their children were Patrick, Mary, James, Hanorah, Philip, Daniel, Johanna,
William (my father), John and Daniel.
Mary, Philip, first Daniel and John all died before 1916

James was a member of Newfoundland Regiment and served overseas, #3313
and survived the war and moved to Nova Scotia in 1929, where he died
on January 2, 1978

My sister inherited this photo from one of my aunts.
