Rodger's Cart at Ayre's Cove, Water Street

St. John's East
c1930

This is a photo of one of Lawrence's carts at Ayre's Cove.
The building on the left is Ayre & Sons Ltd and down in
the cove is the Tor's Cove Trading Company. The sign
on the cart reads "This is Homasote wall board". This
material was used in the manufacture of carriages
by Lawrence Brothers Ltd., on Gower Street.
