A photo of Cabot Tower on Signal Hill taken c1950.
Built in 1897 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of
the discovery of Newfoundland by John Cabot, and
for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, it is now the
centre piece of Canada's 2nd largest historic Park.
