Benjamin and Lydia Knee c1960 My parents, Benjamin and Lydia Knee in their General Store at 3 Blackmarsh Road.  They originally operated Chatfield House, a boarding house, at 9 Brazil Sq. in downtown St. John's.  They bought the 3 Blackmarsh Road premises in 1946 and operated the general store until 1962, then selling it to a Burton family, who then sold it, to it's current owner, West End Electronics.
