Mildred (Gough) Winsor

St. John's
1942

This is a picture of my mother Mildred (Gough) Winsor taken
in 1942 at the time of her Grace Hospital graduation. She
nursed both in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. She
is also well known for her many years of writing
"The Quiet Corner" for the Gander Beacon.

She was born in 1918 in Elliston, Trinity Bay, NL, daughter
of William Gough aand Mary (Street) Crewe Gough.
She died in 2008.
