A photo of my Grandfather, Tom Wells (1886-1978), and some
other Newfoundlanders who served with the Royal Navy during
the 1st World War, having just returned from the war and
docked at the wharf in St. Johns, NFLD. on July 3rd 1918.
Tom is sitting in the center of the picture
below a horizontally strung rope.
