St. John's c1898 My grandmother, Annie Norman (nee Simmonds), photographed at age 13 years in St. Johns, NFLD. She was born to recently widowed Mary Ann Neyle (nee Simmonds), on April 28 1885 in St. Johns, NFLD. She was adopted and raised by her grandfather, Josiah Simmonds, a painting contractor in St. Johns. Annie was married to my grandfather Beniah Norman (1885-1942) in St. Johns on June 14 1903. Fondly remembered as a loving mother & grandmother who left us in December 1983 at Toronto, Ontario. Contributed by Dave Norman (September 2004)
