Meresheen Aunt Katherine Murray Wilson and her house below in Little Merasheen, born March 16, 1893 on Gould's Rd., Brigus and lived in Fox Harbour. Married William Wilson and lived in Meresheen. Died May 9, 1979 in Placentia. Her parents were Katherine Hawco, born 1857, Chapel's Cove and John Tucker, 1852, Brigus (?). Kate was a mid-wife and delivered over 600 babies and had 17 of her own children. She loved to sing, and established a credit union in Meresheen. Contributed by Carolyn Murray 2005 04
