Nick McGrath in Logging Camp

Nick McGrath in Centeral Newfoundland Logging Camp

Picture of (from left to right) Mick Mason, Nick McGrath
and Tim Parsley, taken in a logging camp in Central
Newfoundland. They attended a funeral for someone as
there were black bands on the arms and I would assume
this was their Sunday best. Nick (Nicholas) McGrath
was my grandfather and died in July 7, 1951 at the
age of 47 with a massive heart attack. His wife,
Mary (my grandmother) died April 12, 2001
at the ripe young age of 94 years.
This picture was taken c1930’s.
