Long Bridge in Avondale c1930's
On the right is Maurice Kennedy’s slaughter house and on the left at the other end of the bridge is Billy Kelly’s garage, Neither one of these buildings exist today. Where Billy Kelly’s garage was, the Post Office stands there today. Again notice the Assumption Church in the background as well as Lee’s Pond Mountain. Contributed by Barbara McGrath |
