Harbour Main District

Avondale coming from the South side from Hr. Main On you right at the bottom of the picture is the South side School House and then the next house is a picture of James (Jim) and Sadie Pendergast’s house and shed. Next to them is a picture of Walter and Nellie Kennedy’s house. The school house is gone and Jim and Sadie Pendergast’s house has been replaced with a newer home owned by Tom Nolan, but Walter Kennedy’s house is still standing and still lived in by family. You can also see the Assumption Church in the background minus the two large Schools that are there now, instead on side if the church is a one room school like the one on the south side.
