Avondale John Davidson, born 1912 in Avondale, & Elizabeth Cahill born Feb. 12, 1916 in Avondale, Conception Bay, Nfld. and were married Feb 1936. John and Elizabeth changed their last name to Cook, as the Cook family had raised John as a child. Elizabeth is one of the daughters of the Cahill clan who are among the original families of Avondale. Their marriage produced 15 children. Contributed by Bill Barrett May 2006
