Spaniard's Bay Pond (now Shearstown) early 1900s A drawing of my great grandfather Ananias Mercer of Spaniard's Bay Pond, now Shearstown. He was married to Joanna Dawe, and they had eight children.  They are both buried in St. Mark's Anglican Church Cemetery Shearstown.  Ananias was born Oct 24th, 1848 and died Jan 25, 1902. Ananias' parents were Jonathan Mercer and Rachel Stevenson. Contributed by Harry Mercer 2009 04
