Ellen Dwyer Clare 1913 This is my Great Grandmother Ellen Dwyer Clare. She was born October 1, 1848 in Lion's Den, Fogo, Nf. She was the daughter of Thomas Dwyer and Bridget Pickett of Kilkenny, Ireland and Fogo, Nf respectively. Ellen Dwyer married John Clare of Carbonear, Nf in Fogo on Oct 8, 1875 and then moved to Boyd's Cove, Nf. Ellen Dwyer Clare is pictured here with her grandchildren John and Catherine Clare. Photo taken 1913. Contributed by Maureen Thoms
