Ferryland District

Caplin Bay (now Calvert) This is a very old photo (mid 1800s?)of the original Morry home in Caplin Bay before they moved to Ferryland itself. This house went by the name "Athlone Cottage" for reasons lost to time as none of my family hailed from Ireland. Enid O'Brien sent me this. Contributed by Chris Morry
