My "Dad" Morry, that is my grandfather, Howard Leopold Morry

This photo shows him standing beside the corner stone of the
Sir Arthur Holdsworth property which later became the Morry property
in Ferryland proper, after they moved from Caplin Bay in the mid-1800s.
The story goes the corner stone was brought to Ferryland by Holdsworth
from Torquay, England back in the early 1700s or even the late 1600s.
I'm not sure if the stone still exists as its been years since I've been
"home" to Ferryland. The photo was probably taken in the 1950s
