Burin early 1900s Walter Norman Kirby born 11 Sep. 1877 at Collins Cove died in Halifax 06 Dec. 1917 in the Halifax Explosion - less than one year after moving there from Nfld.   Walter was the son of William Wagg Kirby and Elizabeth Sarah Strong. Contributed by Jacqueline Clements 2009 01
