Burin 1941 The funeal of John T. Brushett at Kirriemuir Cemetery, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. John, a native of Burin, joined the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit and was stationed in Scotland, where he was killed on August 7,1941, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Contributed by Lindsay Robertson 2008 11
