Ross Children 1930

Marystown
1920's

The gentleman wearing the hat is my uncle
Edward (Ned) Power born in 1901. Ned is the
son of Richard Power and Philomena Mitchell.
Richard moved to Cape Breton in the mid twenties
with his family. Richard is the son of Edward Power
and Sarah Pittman. (Sarah died in 1930 but Edward
appears to have died quite young - doesn't show up in
the census after 1871 and I haven't been able to find
out when and where he died.). Philomena is the
daughter of William Mitchell and Mary Baker.

The other two adults are my grandparents
Philip and Mary Ellen ( Rusk) Fahey. The
little boy is my Uncle John Fahey

The picture was taken in New Waterford, NS.
