Bonavista Bay District

Cannings Cove Photo of the original church, the building of which was started in May 1910 and completed in the fall of 1912. The church was built by Edward Fitzgerald of Open Hall, Bonavista Bay and was consecrated by Bishop Llewellyn Jones in the spring of 1913. This church was closed on December 1,1971. Contributed by Tom and Iris Chatman
