Reid Newfoundland Railway Employees

Port aux Basques
c1905

Photo taken at the Port aux Basques railway terminal showing a large group of employees of the Reid Newfoundland Railway
posing for a photo. I am positive of only two names in the group; dead centre in the 2nd row, wearing a salt and pepper cap,
and directly behind the fellow sitting in front with arms folded, is my grandfather, Albert Edward Bennett, who would have
been about 20 at the time. The other fellow I can positively identify is Leander Hann, who is standing on the far right
with hands on his hips and seems to be glaring angrily at the camera Andrew lived next door to us
when I was a young boy, and he was very well known by everyone.
