The Day after the Tidalwave
The only houses that remain today are the Mitchell House #1, The house furthest to the right (See Back of Photo page), now owned by the Bennetts. and #2 (See back of photo page), the house furthest left on the picture . Still owned by the Abbott family. It was built in 1905 and was built by my Great-Great Grandfather, William Abbott, wife Charlotte (ST. CROIX) Abbott. This is the house where I grew up.
