A Coal Schooner

Coal Schooner

Grand Bruit

Coal Schooner in Grand Bruit offloading coal at a coal shed, the long narrow
building between two stages, owned by John Billard upstream and
John Martin (Macdonald) downstream. A number of families had
enclosed storage spaces on either side of a narrow walkway,
through the building, for their winter coal.
