Northern Bay Aerial Photo An aerial view of the Northern Bay area. The beach (Northern Bay Sands) is about 1/3 of the way down on the left side of the photo. Notice the 100' cliffs and coves. They presented a formidable obstacle for the fishermen who had few mechanical aids to move stuff up and down to their stages - mostly up. Up to the 1950s, each of the coves would have had a stage. Contributed by Matt Mullaly
