Ochre Pit Cove

Ochre Pit Cove
early 1900's

Ochre Pit Cove where Red Indians,
from all parts of Newfoundland,
came to get the red paint to adorn themselves.

This is a postcard from my father's album.
The dates 1610 - 1910 are in his hand.
