From the top: Clara Halfyard (1893-1971), Ochre Pit Cove;
Katie Bishop (1894-1965), Western Bay; Chesley Halfyard
(1877-1934), Ochre Pit Cove. Clara & Ches were brother & sister,
Katie was their cousin. Katie was home visiting from the US
in 1965 and was killed in a car accident between St. John's
& Roaches Line, result of a tire that blew. She is buried in
Western Bay South. Clara & Ches are buried in Toronto.
Photo is in Ochre Pit Cove, 1919 or earlier.
