TRITON
(Jim's Cove)

Unknown Cemetery

Twillingate District

Names included: Fifield, Roberts, Simms, Vincent. This small
cemetery is located beside the main road in what was formerly
known as Jim’s Cove. It has not been used in over 50 years but
is well-maintained and surrounded by a white fence which is in
good condition. All of the headstones are of the traditional
thin, white type except number three which is a heavier grey
stone and number one which is a metal cross. The cemetery is
located next to what is now the new municipal building and
across the road from the drugstore and medical clinic. A sketch
of the grave positions within the cemetery is available by
contacting Valerie Whelan.
