HANLON "In loving memory of Frank Hanlon who died May 5th, 1915. Aged 78 years.Time or distance cannot part, hearts unite to the sacred heart." Marble headstone, in sound but stained condition. Decorated with heart, hand & cross. Inscription mostly decipherable
HANLON "In memory of Emily, beloved wife of Patrick Hanlon who died July 5tth, 1915 . Aged 75 years. Also their daughter Mary, Died Dec. 23, 1895. Aged 16 years" Marble headstone, in sound but stained condition. Decorated with hand. Inscription clear but worn.
HANLON "In loving memory of Patrick J. Hanlon beloved husband of Frances Hanlon. Died Jan. 17, 1952. Aged 73 yrs. "May the sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul" Marble headstone, in sound but stained condition. Decorated with heart, barbed wire [sic](crown of thorns(?)) and cross. Inscription clear but worn.
HANLON "In loving memory of William Charles beloved husband of Katie Hanlon. Born Aug. 3, 1874. Died May 28, 1943. "May the sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul" Marble headstone, in sound but tilted condition. Decorated with leaves. Inscription clear but worn.
HANLON "In loving memory of Katie Hanlon. Born July 14, 1879. Died Dec. 16, 1955. "May the sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul" Marble headstone, in sound but tilted condition. Decorated with leaves. Inscription clear but worn.
HANLON "In loving memory of Mary. Born March 15, 1914. Died Jan. 6, 1968. "R.I.P." Marble headstone, in sound condition. No decoration. Inscription clear.
CONNELLEY "In memory of Mickael Connelley who died July 25, 1857. Aged 64 years. Also his son William who died Oct. 3, 1859. Aged 22 years. "Requiescat in Pace." Marble headstone, in poor condition (chipped, cracked, stained, moss-covered, overgrown & toppled). Decorated with hand, rosettes, and cross. Inscription traces only
HOSKINS "Sacred to the memory of John Hoskins. Died May 30th, 1915. Aged 63 years. Also his wife Margret. Died Nov. 16, 1941. Aged 79 years. "Request In Pace" Marble headstone, in sound condition; decorated with leaves. Inscription clear.
MURPHY "In memory of Andrew Murphy who died Dec. 22, 1863. Aged 22 years. "Weep not for me, but pray while time to you is given, your tears can only wet my day, your prayers may gain me heaven" Marble headstone, in poor condition (stained, moss-covered, overgrown & toppled). Inscription clear but worn.
MURPHY "Anne the beloved wife of Thomas Murphy. (—). Aged 45 years. Also their son John. Died July 30, 1879. Aged 46 years. Marble headstone, in poor condition (chipped, cracked, broken, stained, moss-covered, overgrown & toppled). Inscription mostly decipherable.
LAHEY "In loving memory of Anthony. 1865-1941. Also daughter Joan. 1929-1944. "Eternal rest grant them O Lord" Marble headstone, condition tilted & stained; decorated with flowers. Inscription clear.
LAWLOR "In loving memory of Martin Lawlor. Died June 7, 1936. Aged 82 years. Also his wife Mary Anne. Died Aug. 14, 1946. Aged 75 years. Marble headstone, in sound condition; decorated with cross. Inscription clear.
LAWLOR "Josephine Lawlor. 1884-1968. "May the sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul" Marble headstone, in sound condition; decorated with flowers. Inscription clear.
LAWLOR "In memory of Margaret, the beloved wife of Robert Lawlor who departed this life July 8th, 1800. Aged 37 years. "Request IN Pace." Marble headstone, discolored & toppled; decorated with flowers. Inscription mostly decipherable.
SPENCE "In memory of John Spence who died Aug. 18, 1901. Aged 62 years. "R.I.P." Marble headstone, in cracked & broken condition; decorated with cross and "I.H.S. Inscription clear.
LAWLOR Stanislaus Lawlor. 1907-1974. May the sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Marble headstone, in sound condition; decorated with flowers. Inscription clear.
POWER "In loving memory of Michael Power. Died May 10th, 1923. Aged 81 years. Also his wife Mary A. Died Dec. 29th, 1930. Aged 78 years." ................ Marble headstone, in sound but stained condition; decorated with cross. Inscription clear but worn.
POWER "In memory of Mary Power beloved wife of William Power. Died Jan. 23, 1911. Aged 56 years. And their daughter Agnes. Died March 19, 1908. Aged 17 years. "R.I.P. Gone but not forgotten. .............." Marble headstone, in eroded, tilted & stained condition; decorated with hand and cross. Inscription clear but worn.
POWER "In loving memory of Thomas Power who died Dec. 21st, 1952. Aged 75 years. Also William Power who died March 23rd, 1937. Aged 90 years. "Let perpetual light shine upon them." Marble headstone, in sound but stained condition; decorated with heart & cross. Inscription mostly decipherable.
CHURCHILL "In memory of John James Churchill who died November 18th, 1961. Aged 83 years. Marble headstone, in sound but stained condition; decorated with cross & hand. Inscription clear but worn.
CHURCHILL "In loving memory of Johanna Churchill. Wife of John Churchill. Died Nov. 21st, 1953. Aged 78 years. "May her soul rest in peace." Marble headstone, in sound but stained condition; decorated with cross & hand. Inscription clear but worn.
CHURCHILL "In memory of Alice Churchill who died Feb. 7th, 1908. Aged 68 years. Also her husband James Churchill who died Nov. 15th, 1890. Aged 49 years. "R.I.P." Marble headstone, in tilted & stained condition; decorated with cross & hand. Inscription clear but worn.
EAGEN "Sacred to the memory of Capt. Edward Eagen who departed this life April 29, 1861. ............................." Marble headstone, in poor condition (cracked, stained, moss-covered & toppled). Inscription mostly decipherable.
BRENNAN "Erected by Mary Brennan. In memory of her beloved husband Richard who died July 6, 1878. Aged 58 years. "May his soul rest in peace." Marble headstone, chipped, stained & toppled. Inscription clear but worn.
POWER "In memory of John Power. Native of Waterford, Ireland who died Nov. 19, 1861. Also his beloved wife Johanna who died Feb. 10, 1865. Aged 69 years. " Requiescat In Pace." Marble headstone, cracked, stained & toppled; decorated with cross. Inscription clear but worn.
CONNELLEY "In Memoriam Mary Connelley (—) October 18, 1826 .........." Wooden cross, broken & toppled. Inscription almost illegible.
COLEMAN "L/CPL. Alfonso Coleman. 1920-1960. Newfoundland Regt. "Lest We Forget" Granite war grave, stained & moss-covered. Inscription clear.
CHRISTOPHER "In loving memory of John Christopher. Died Oct. 2, 1940. Aged 77 years. Also his son William. Died at sea in War Service December 1941. Aged 41 years. "Eternal rest grant to them. Rest in Peace." Marble headstone, in sound condition; decorated with cross. Inscription clear.
EAGEN ........ Mary H. Eagen ........ Wooden headstone, in sound condition. Inscription clear.
HAYTER "Emma Catherine. 1906-1983. "Rest In Peace. Granite headstone, in sound condition; decorated with rosettes & heart. Inscription clear.
MURPHY "In memory of Ellen Murphy who died May 9th, 1868. Aged 60 years. A native of Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Also her husband John. A native of Co. Cory, Ireland who died Nov. 25th, 1869. Aged 70 years. "Requiescat In Pace. Marble headstone, cracked, stained & toppled; decorated with cross & "I.H.S. Inscription clear
MURPHY "Gloria in Excelsus Deo. Erected by Mary. In memory of her beloved husband Michel Murphy. Died Nov. 21, 1877. Age 33 years." Granite headstone, broken, stained & toppled; decorated with cross. Inscription mostly decipherable.
DONOVAN "In loving memory of Patrick beloved husband of Ellen Donovan. Died June 17, 1940. Age 58 years. "Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul" Marble headstone, in sound condition; decorated with heart, cross & flames. Inscription clear
McGRATH "McGrath. William E. 1883 - 1955. His wife Jane. 1890-1973. Son Patrick G. 1917-1984. Son Edward P. 1915-1915." Granite headstone, in sound condition; decorated with book, cross & rosary. Inscription clear.
CONNELLEY "In loving memory of Catherine Connelley. Died Sept. 5th, 1937. Aged 63 years. Her husband John Connelley. Died Feb. 20th, 1938. Aged 75 years. Also their son Leo Patrick. Died May 19th, 1919. Aged 13 years. "Most sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on their Marble headstone, stained & toppled; decorated with cross, heart and flames. Inscription clear.
COLLINS "Erected by Emma S. Collins. In memory of her beloved husband William J. Collins who died (—) 1898. Age 38 years. "God will be done." Marble monument, in chipped, eroded & toppled condition. Traces only remain of inscription.
CONNELLEY "In memory of John Connolly who died Sept. 8, 1901. Age 72 years. "R.I.P. Also his beloved wife Sarah. Died Sept 8, 1898. Aged 62 years. "R.I.P." Marble monument; toppled; decorated with cross. Inscription clear.
BRINNICK "In memory of a dearly beloved husband William Brinnick who passed away May 25, 1953. Aged 87 years. "May the sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. R.I.P." Marble headstone, in tilted & stained condition; decorated with heart, cross & flames. Inscription clear but worn.
PURCELL "Erected by Edward Purcell. In memory of his wife Mary who died Dec. 7, 1868. Aged 30 years. Also their daughter Margaret. Died Feb. 20, 1868. Aged 6 months. "Requiescat In Pace. TOULMAN "Erected by his sons. In memory of their beloved father Charles Toulman" Marble headstone, in cracked, eroded, stained, moss-covered condition. Traces of inscription only.
PHELAN "Erected by Elenon Phelan. In memory of beloved Husband John. A native of Queens Co. Ireland who died Jan. 15, 1873. Aged 85 years. Also their daughter Margaret. Died 25 of December 1872. Aged 27 years. "Requiescat In Pace" Marble headstone, sound but stained & moss-covered; decorated with hand, rosettes & cross. Inscription clear.
BRINNICK "Erected by William Brinnick. In loving memory of his brother John who died April 6th, 1905. Age 31 years. "R.I.P. Dearest brother thou hast left us here, thy loss we deeply feel but if God that has ............." Marble headstone, in chipped, crumbled & toppled condition; decorated with hands & cross. Inscription mostly decipherable.
TARAHAN and CAROLAN "Erected by E.J. Ryan. In memory of Reverend W.M. Tarahan P.P. (Past Priest) at Trinity for 42 years. Born at Brigus 1853. Died at Trinity 17th March 1938. Aged 85 years. And Reverend P.A. Carolan. Born in Ireland. Died at Trinity 1895. "Dear Lord Jesus g Marble monument, in sound but stained condition; decorated with sun and goblet. Inscription clear
RYAN "Erected by E.J. Ryan. In memory of his beloved wife Mary who died Oct. 25th, 1919. "Dear Lord Jesus grant her eternal rest." Marble monument, in chipped & moss-covered condition; decorated with cross, vines & I.H.S. Inscription clear but worn.
DOHERTY (Side 1) "In memory of Priscilla Doherty who died Dec. 5, 1894. Age 56 years. "Requiescat In Pace" (Side 2) "And of dearly beloved husband Edward Doherty who was drowned in the S.S. Lion Jan. 6, 1882. Aged 54 years. "Requiescat In Pace." Marble monument, sound but stained & moss-covered; decorated with cross & I.H.S. Inscription mostly decipherable.
POWER "Sacred to the memory of Charles Power who perished on the —ss of time ill faith — Jan. 6, 1882. Age 42 years. Also Amelia Power who died at Trinity Nov. 27, 1883. Age 61 years. "Requiescat In Pace." Marble monument, in cracked, stained, moss-covered & toppled condition; decorated with hand, garland & cross. Only traces of inscription remain.
MURPHY "Sacred to the memory of Patrick Murphy. A native of Co. Carlow, Ireland who died 27th May 1882. Also his wife Anne. Died 2nd Jan. 1877. Age 62 years. "Requiescat In Pace." Marble monument, in cracked, stained & moss-covered condition; decorated with lamb, flowers, hand harps, cross & vines. Inscription clear.
MURPHY "Erected by Patrick Murphy. In memory of his wife Ann who died Jan. 2nd, 1877. Age 62 years. "I Loving Wife, I Mother Dear, A Faithful Friend, Lies Buried Here. Requiescat In Pace." Marble headstone, stained & toppled; decorated with hand, rosettes & cross. Inscription clear.
LYNCH "Erected by Amelia Lynch. In memory of her beloved husband Ambrose J. Lynch who died Aug. 24, 1876. Aged 25 years. "May his soul rest in peace." Marble headstone, stained & toppled; decorated with lamb & cross. Inscription clear but worn.
SCLATER "In memory of William Sclater who died July 12, 1862. Aged 87 years. Also his wife Margaret. Died May 12, 1864. Aged 72 years. "Requiescat In Pace." Marble headstone, stained, moss-covered & toppled; decorated with cross & I.H.S. Inscription mostly decipherable.
McGRATH "McGrath. Brother Edmund N. 1932 - 1990. Sister Agatha. 1919 - 1921. Son and daughter of William and Jane. "R.I.P." Granite headstone, in sound condition. Inscription clear.
