Mattis Point is located near Bay St George across the river from Stephenville Crossing. The Cemetery it is somewhat over grown by alders and small brush. There were a many unmarked graves, also many white crosses with no names and several white stones with no names. I found the cemetery one of the most moving I have been in with many small graves, obviously those of small children. [ indicates my comments] + indicates wooden cross
